No learner left behind – Bridging the gap after lockdown with Joanne Ramsden

Over the last few months we have found ourselves in the situation where we have been teaching children remotely using a variety of digital tools. Unfortunately, not all pupils have had access to online learning during this time and in this session we will be looking at strategies and practical activities to help young learners catch up.

Joanne is currently teaching science, art and English literacy as part of the British Council Bilingual Project. She has many years of experience at both Primary and Infant levels, writing songs and developing materials for the classroom. She has published several articles on teaching and is involved in teacher training in the area. She is the author of Macmillan Natural & Social Science 1 & 2, Captain Jack Magic Phonics Give me Five! 2 and 4 with Donna Shaw and is also co-author of Play with Patch and Patch the Puppy 1 & 2, all titles published by Macmillan Education.
